Tech and futures of jobs

The article is based on a commentary from the The Guardian, about the loss of jobs available for people because of automation and use of robots and drones.
This is actually happening. The unemployment rate is still up in a slow recovery and some factory owners recognize that they are hiring less because of some processes are automated. Moreover, companies in China are using robots to replace the Chinese cheap workers.
And not only in the industrial sector, also in the services, where companies have develop robots to prepare hamburgers or deliver beer.
Also in the tech sector there is starting to be a lot of unemployed engineers and tech guys.
So, what can we expect for the future?
what kind of job will be in the future?
what kind of job I will seek and perform?
